To Our Patients:
During this uncertain time, the team at Ellsworth Plastic Surgery remains committed to our exceptional level of patient care and safety. During this time, new precautionary measures have been placed at our offices which are located within the Houston Methodist Hospitals. While we understand these efforts may seem cumbersome at times, these screenings are necessary to ensure the health and safety of our patients, their family and our staff.
When scheduling an appointment:
When you call to schedule an appointment with our office, the staff will ask you a series of questions:
If you have traveled to any of the restricted travel countries
Have a fever
Have a fever AND experiencing upper respiratory symptoms such as coughing and shortness of breath.
If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, you will be asked to reschedule your appointments and seek care from your primary care physician or via virtual care visits.

If patients are asymptomatic, they will be cleared to go to their appointment. If they are not cleared, they will be masked and instructed to go home, monitor their symptoms and consider seeking medical attention through a virtual visit.
Any patient needing emergency care will be directed to the ER.
Visitation is limited to one visitor (over 18) per patient per day. These visitors must also be screened by answering questions, have temperatures checked and asked to wear a wristband.
Thank you for embracing these restrictions as a way we can protect everyone in our facilities and do our part to try to stop the spread of this disease. We appreciate all of you.
